Laurent Alexandre is a man resolutely focused several years into the future. His clairvoyance stems from a solid foundation of acquired experience, accumulated knowledge, and a passion for foresight. Specializing in subjects such as transhumanism, biotechnology, computer science (and AI), med-tech, and the humanities, Laurent Alexandre offers an enlightened vision of our contemporary society.

Born to a physician father, he pursued medical studies that led him to become a Doctor of Surgery and Urologist. In addition, he completed the MBA program at HEC Paris and trained in business management. Continuing his journey at ENA, he further cemented his unique profile. Four years after earning his first surgical degree, he founded his first consulting firm (in 1994), followed by Medcost in 1995 with several partners. In 1999, he co-founded the renowned health portal Doctissimo. Just as the earliest websites were emerging, and well ahead of the Web 2.0 social wave, Laurent Alexandre foresaw the evolving preferences of Internet users. Doctissimo was later acquired by the Lagardère group for 139 million euros.

In 2010, he turned his focus firmly to the world of DNA research and sequencing by acquiring the company DNAVision. At the same time, he invested in the media industry by taking an equity stake in the newspaper La Tribune.

Laurent Alexandre is also an author and contributes numerous articles to publications such as L’Express, We demain (the acclaimed magazine for a changing era), Huffington Post, and Le Monde. His latest book, "La Guerre des intelligences", challenges current assumptions about global balance to reveal an alarming disruption.

His core topics of expertise are transhumanism and artificial intelligence. He delivered a high-caliber TEDx talk entitled "The Retreat of Death: Towards Near-Term Immortality?". Yet his quest for knowledge extends far beyond this domain: he also speaks on economics, education, politics, and societal issues.

Laurent Alexandre discusses complex topics such as nanotechnologies, computing, genetics, biotechnology, and AI with remarkable clarity.

Today, he delivers expert keynotes for UnoMe with an impactful, engaging, and unifying tone.
