She was born on February 11, 1992, in Bern, practically on a volleyball court, as both of her parents were professional players.

From an early age, she played in clubs and spent her summers playing beach volleyball on the sand.

After her first indoor season in the NLA as an attacker for the club Sm‘Aesch Pfeffingen, she chose to pursue beach volleyball as a professional. What she cherishes most about playing as a duo is the bond uniting the two teammates: "each carries a greater responsibility towards the other." In 2016, she qualified for the Rio de Janeiro Olympic Games with her former partner at the time: Isabelle Forrer. Unfortunately, they were eliminated by the German pair Laura Ludwig and Kira Walkenhorst. Together, they won the bronze medal at the 2016 World Tour in Toronto against Brazilians Larissa Franca and Talita Antunes.

At the end of the 2016 season, Isabelle Forrer announced her retirement, leaving Anouk without a partner. Meanwhile, Joana Heidrich was also left on her own as Nadine Zumkehr also retired. The two "orphaned" players joined forces to create a fantastic duo. Yet on paper, few would have bet on this unlikely pairing, as both players were accustomed to the same role: they both played at the net. Anouk moved to the backcourt, challenging all of her ingrained habits.
