Alongside her sporting career, Anne-Sophie Thilo earned a Bachelor's and a Master's degree in Communication Sciences, as well as a Master of Advanced Studies in Sport Administration and Technology.

At the end of her sporting career, Anne-Sophie Thilo volunteered with numerous associations, notably Cookie, which supports young Swiss athletes, and Swiss Disabled Sailing, an organization providing access to sailing sports for people with physical disabilities.

She was also Director of Communications for Stéphane Lambiel's company, Special Figures, and served as press officer for the Swiss figure skater. Deeply committed to youth development through sport, she now works at the IOC, specifically in the Youth Olympic Games department.Speaker's language

Following the abrupt end of her athletic career in 2008—a forced separation from her teammate Emmanuelle Rol after the 2008 Beijing Olympics—she had to rebuild herself mentally and find the motivation to relaunch her career while keeping a foot in her lifelong passion: sailing.

Her natural leadership enabled her to serve as Director of Communications and press officer for one of the country's most renowned athletes.
