Her first major achievement soon followed when she won the Verbier Xtreme in 2002, catapulting her into an extraordinary professional career.

A thirst for freedom and a sense of infinity: this is what Géraldine feels when gliding on a snowboard. Géraldine Fasnacht spent 12 years in the demanding and exhilarating world of competition, including 8 years on the Freeride World Tour circuit.

Beyond that, it is the feeling of drawing lines and carving new paths across mountains that drives her spirit. Through carving her lines in the snow, Géraldine began dreaming of flying and shifting dimensions. From the age of 18, she set herself the goal of literally flying. Starting with skydiving (over 300 jumps to her credit), then freefalling, and BASE jumping (as a reminder, B.A.S.E is the acronym for Buildings, Antennas, Spans, Earth). For her, this meant leaping from mountain cliffs.

She is also dedicated to exploring the world and discovering new environments to learn and connect with other people and cultures. She has reached both poles and explored icy landscapes.

She waited until 2001 to put on her first Wingsuit and make her initial flights. After 10 years of intensive practice and training, Géraldine became known as the "bird-woman". She has also opened new flight routes, such as from the summit of the Matterhorn in June 2014. In this discipline, what matters most is extending the duration and distance of the flight as much as possible.
