Coming from an itinerant family, with an Algerian father and a Greek mother, his parents encouraged him to pursue his dreams. At a very young age, he discovered a talent for roller skating. However, it was to become a professional tennis player that he trained intensely, until he discovered the adrenaline rush unleashed by extreme roller skating.

 

Throughout his athletic career, Taïg Khris competed in 115 professional competitions. His 109 podiums (including 75 victories) make him the most decorated athlete in the history of extreme sports. He was also the first to execute a double backflip in competition, and holds the world record for the highest roller jump into a void.

 

Taïg Khris is a versatile visionary who excels in everything he undertakes because he commits the full means to succeed. In 2001, he founded the company "Taïg Khris Events", offering shows and introductory workshops to extreme sports, before venturing in 2006 into creating lines of children's stationery. He learned the necessary skills on the job and ultimately secured contracts with major retail chains.
