I loved this sport and decided late in the game to enter competition. Despite starting late and after years of hard work, I still managed to reach the podium alongside the best. I was truly thrilled to reach such a level. After 15 years competing among the elite, I brought my skiing career to a close.
Then, I was invited to participate in rallies. This awakened the "speed" chromosome within me, and I was very quickly captivated by the thrill of these races.
To venture into this new discipline, I created Team Luc Alphand Aventures (LAA). This organization enabled me to finance my first car, training, and races. I drove for 2 seasons for Renault, then 2 years with BMW XRaid. Ultimately, I raced for 6 seasons with Mitsubishi as an official driver before they withdrew from competition.
A serious motocross accident brought an end to my athletic career, but I continue as an advisor. I therefore stay connected with motorsports through a consultant role for France Télévisions on the Dakar and also as a consultant for major alpine skiing events. I have also returned to motorsport as a consultant for the Silkway Rally.Languages spoken by the speaker:
