With a track record of 7 X-Games medals, a 5th-place finish at the Vancouver Olympics, 4th and 5th places at the Freeride World Championships, three medals in the overall Ski Cross World Cup standings, and two medals at the Ski Cross World Championships, Enak Gavaggio is a true role model for the younger generation, and particularly for the rising talents of French skiing. Regarded as the king of French Skicross, he coaches young winter sports enthusiasts in this spectacular discipline.

 

In 2008, he suffered a serious accident that kept him away from competition and podiums for nearly two years. Facing the risk of paralysis, Enak Gavaggio found the strength to get back on his skis and return to his peak performance level.

A natural jack-of-all-trades, he decided in 2010, following his final international competition, to create a web series entitled « Rancho Webshow » in which the most famous moustachioed man in the skiing world plays an offbeat, vintage character.
