Born in Nendaz, Richard Amacker spent a great deal of time on the slopes; he earned second place in the Swiss Alpine Skiing Championship in giant slalom at just eight years old.
He went on to spend five years on the FIS circuit and, after earning his CFC in plastering at nineteen, decided to take on a new challenge: Freeride.
Richard achieved excellent results in the Freeride World Qualifier, stepping onto the podium five times across various events between 2010 and 2011. He also secured first place in a Freeride World Tour event in Courmayeur in 2012.
In parallel, Richard developed his skills and earned the Federal Snow Sports Instructor Certificate. Since 2016, he has been a coach for the next generation of alpine skiers, an ISTA (International Snow Training Academy) mentor, and a member of the Swiss Snowsports Education Pool.
Between 2012 and 2016, he produced or appeared in five films, including "Persévérance" released in 2016.Languages spoken by the speaker
