Coming from a family passionate about winter sports, she began skiing at the age of two and a half. She started mogul skiing and acrobatic jumping at the traditional Club des Sports at age 9. She was then supported by the Dynastar team and, at 16, began competing in international freestyle contests. Considered a male-dominated sport at the time, Marie Martinod successfully found her place thanks to her motivation and won multiple contests over several years.

For reasons of personal growth, she ended her career at 23 to start a family.

In 2011/2012, she returned to competition to dedicate herself to half-pipe, which made its debut at the Sochi 2014 Olympic Games.

In 2013, she won the X Games and went on to become Olympic vice-champion in 2014. Between 2014 and 2015, due to health reasons, she took a sabbatical year. 2016 marked her comeback onto the podiums, achieving two podium finishes in three World Cup events.

Today, she is the veteran of the Half-Pipe World Cup circuit, as well as an accomplished mother and wife.Languages spoken by the speaker

Marie Martinod delivers conferences across French-speaking Switzerland, in Geneva or Lausanne, and across French-speaking countries. Marie Martinod, an Olympic freestyle and half-pipe athlete, will be delighted to give a keynote in Switzerland about her career path combined with her role as a wife and mother of a young daughter.

Marie Martinod's secret is positivity! Indeed, she has always risen to challenges to take her career to the highest level. She met these challenges head-on from the start, winning in a traditionally "male" sport, then returning to the circuit after a 6-season break, and finally, in 2017, having the best season of her life with no sponsors!!!

Thanks to her positivity, determination, and the support of her family, she achieved global recognition and now shares this energy with corporate audiences.2017:
