Marc Touati is a renowned French economist, prolific author, and sought-after keynote speaker. Holding a Master's degree (DEA) in Money, Finance, and Banking from Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne University, he began his career as an academic researcher and lecturer at the same institution. ​

In 1997, he was appointed Director of Economic and Financial Research for the Banque Populaire and Natixis groups, a role he held for a decade. In 2007, he founded ACDEFI (Aux Commandes De l’Économie et de la Finance), the first independent French economic and financial advisory and training firm, which currently advises over 1,300 clients across France and Europe. ​

In parallel, Marc Touati has been a lecturer at the Paris Institute of Political Studies (Sciences Po) since 2001 and speaks at numerous universities and business schools. ​

A prominent media personality, he is regularly consulted by press, radio, and television for his economic insights. He also runs an influential YouTube channel with over 150,000 subscribers and more than 15 million views.
