While the Grande-Dixence dam may currently be better known than he is, that won't be for long. He has made a significant mark in the World Cup.
Having become Swiss Junior Champion in 2015 and earning multiple European Cup victories, he went on to become Junior World Champion in the super-combined in quick succession.
Like any native of Neuchâtel, he is proud of his elder Didier Cuche and looks up to him as a role model. Loïc Meillard is determined to reach the very top, taking it step by step without putting undue pressure on himself.
