This Valais native is a true model of resilience, as shown by his remarkable comeback between 2010 and 2011, when he caused a major surprise by climbing to 8th place after being unranked the previous season!
This qualified him for the World Championships in Garmisch that same year. He finished ninth, clocking the fastest time in the second run.
He went on to string victories together, although two seasons plagued by injuries temporarily slowed his ascent.
Relentless, he managed to return to the forefront and demonstrated his resilience by reaching podiums while remaining in the top 15 of all his competitions.Languages spoken by the speaker
