Currently Professor of Sociology and Anthropology at Sorbonne Paris Cité, Bertrand Pulman also directs a Master's program at the École des Hautes Études en Sciences Sociales. He takes a deep interest in social foresight across three distinct fields: sport, family, and health. He is also a specialist in the dialogue between the social sciences and psychoanalysis.

Bertrand Pulman's research on the sociology of sport offers valuable insights for managers and business leaders. It sheds profound light on our relationship with performance, our handling of challenges and successes, and team dynamics. He demonstrates how physical activity and sport are major societal issues, influencing our well-being—especially at work—and our individual and collective health.

Regarding family sociology, Bertrand Pulman shows that the evolutions and increasing diversity of family structures must be taken into account, as they can impact corporate life. Comparing kinship systems across time and space helps identify the foundations of uniquely human solidarity.Spoken language of the speaker
